SUMMARY:VARAC Grand Prix
DESCRIPTION:The Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (Mossport for us old-timers) will be hosting the\n2025 VARAC Grand Prix June 12 – 15. \nClasses of racing include: \n\nVINTAGE (pre 1962)\nHISTORIC ( pre 1973)\nCLASSIC ( pre 1999)\nFORMULA CLASSIC ( open wheel Monoposto race cars pre 2000)\nSpecial Guests (Sports 2000 North America Series)\n\nIn addition\, Toyo Tires F1600 Championship Series races will be staged.\nThursday June 12 is a track orientation orientation and testing day including street car\nlapping.\nAt the time of writing 323 entries have been registered. The registration can be seen\nhere. \nThe entry list is very impressive and includes most of the cars we own. At this point\, 72 cars are listed to be on the track on Thursday including a couple of Super Sevens\, a Lola T-89\, a Lola T 540\, some Porsche\n356c’s\, 911’s\, 914’s\, a TR8\, an Elan\, a Mustang\, a Cobra\, a Lotus 11 a Lotus 22\, an MGA\, a Sprite and many more.\nDrive time is about 2 hours from Niagara on the 407. \nIf you are interested in attending and want to travel together\, John Lehnen will be leaving Tim Hortons at Prudhomme Station\, 3125 N Service Rd\, Vineland Station at 8:00 a.m. Route will be on Hwy 407.
