DESCRIPTION:The Antique Car Show has been a part of Downtown Thorold for a very long time. \n\nEvery Wednesday Evening starting June 11th – August 27 (weather permitting)  \nBuilding on the success of the last two years’ Thorold Community Market held at the Battle of Beaverdams Park and the Thorold BIA Car Show\, the City and the BIA has decided to once again\, combine both popular events on the same day for the enjoyment of residents of all ages in our community.\nLocal farmers\, vendors and artisans will participate.\nThis free community market from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.\, takes place at the Battle of Beaverdams Park on Sullivan Avenue. Visitors can enjoy food and drink while supporting local businesses and listening to music.\nVisitors can also wander through the Park to admire the many classic cars that will be parked there\, as part of the Thorold BIA Car Show and then head down to Front Street to support the local businesses. \nIf you have a car that you want to bring to the Car Show\, prior registration isn’t required. Just arrive before 5 pm. Enter through Beaverdams Parks main gates across from McDonald’s on Claremont. through the main park gates off Sullivan Avenue. \nJuly 16 – rain date is July 23 \nAugust 13 – rain date is August 20

Please join us for Meet\, WALK\, Go ‘n Eat. \nDate:    Tuesday\, August 19 \nTime:   5:00 p.m. \nPlace:  Happy Rolph’s Animal Farm\, 650 Read Rd\, St. Catharines\, ON L2R 7K6\nDrive to the end of Read Road\, turn around and park on the west side of the street\, on the shoulder. \nWe are going to take the 9/11 Memorial Walk. The site is dedicated to the 27 Canadians\, including those with strong ties to Canada\, who lost their lives in the tragic events of September 11\, 2001. Each person has a plaque explaining the reason for their being in New York on that date and at that time. \nIt’s not very long\, about 250 metres\, in total; flat and accessible. \nAfter our stroll\, we will head east on the Lakeshore for dinner at the Sandtrap\, 358 Mary Street\, Niagara-on-the-Lake. \nThe weather forecast looks iffy. If it’s raining\, we’ll meet at the Sandtrap for dinner about 6:00 p.m.

DESCRIPTION:Drive in\, Relax and Enjoy the Music! \nPresented by Asahi Kasei Battery Separator Canada\, the Caverners Beatles Tribute Band will perform at Port Colborne’s waterfront. \nThe Caverners debuted in 1994 and have since been exciting audiences with their note for note perfect portrayal of The Beatles in concert. With authentic instruments\, costumes and stellar vocals\, this all Canadian cast recreates an incredible performance night after night leaving audience screaming\, stamping their feet and shouting for more. All the great songs are there too\, everything from She Loves You to Day Tripper\, from Yesterday\, Help\, and A Hard Days Night to Get Back and Hey Jude. \nThe Caverners will hold your hand back to The Ed Sullivan Show in February 1964\, then drive your car and take you on a yellow submarine to meet nowhere men\, Taxmen\, and people named Jude\, Lady Madonna and John and Yoko.  It’s a ride you won’t want to miss. \nDate:                  Friday\, August 29 \nTime:                 Arrival at 6:00 p.m. for the concert at 7:00 p.m. \nPlace:                 H.H.
